A Dose of Inspiration - Issue 10

๐ŸŒ A Dose of Inspiration - Issue 10

Hello friends and family!

I hope you are having a beautiful week wherever you are. It's been a crazy busy one for me but I love that I get to take time and create this magic for you.

Before I go on,

hello and welcome

to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a

Dose of Inspiration

and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

. This week you are in for a treat!

The theme of this week is Persistence.

I mainly chose this theme because this newsletter refused to save today. So I have written parts of this 5 times now. Not only this newsletter, on Sunday I was building a website and it did not save. It magically reverted back to the first design. (I am not a website designer, nor do I own these skills, so everything is google backed, which means I need to google everything!)

A bit of frustration and a lot of sighing from me but I am finding out that this is a process I need to love.

Have you ever needed to do something where you have no skills or it made you uncomfortable because it was beyond your knowledge bank?

Now, imagine yourself as a kid. A 6-year-old who needs to do a task. You do not have the knowledge and since you have only been on earth for 6 years, this is something you have never done before.

  • What advice would you give this kid?

  • What would be something that you would say to encourage him/her to do this task?

  • What words would you use to help them understand, it's just a learning curve and these emotions are normal?

  • How would you inspire them to push past their own limits to complete this?

As we get older we forget this! We forget to be kind when we are learning new skills, we forget to encourage ourselves along the way, we forget... it's all part of the process and this new task will get done if we take a moment to breathe and create a plan of action to move forward.

Today's newsletter is just a small reminder from me to you. Be kind to yourself ...a lot of life is us trying to figure out new things!

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

What would Rosie do?

Meet Rosie Gabrielle!

She rides her motorbike across countries and NOT ONLY does she explore it, but she delves deep into the culture and preaches unity and understanding.

I am so inspired by her! As I was researching her this morning and instantly lit up because I remembered that I could do this too.

I came across her in a travel group a few years back and was amazed! You see... a lot of tourists will choose to not go to places because of "safety" or things they hear about a country.

So it's very refreshing to come across travelers, the old school kind who explore lands to meet people. Who don't travel for the gram but travel to connect, to learn a language, and to embrace the warmth of space that they have the pleasure to visit.

There are a lot of travelers out there who will connect so deeply to a country that they will inspire you to do the same.

Here are some of my favourites from Rosie:

Oh, and did I mention she does this while her health is not always at 100%.

Did she inspire you? If yes, please do me a small favour and share this week's newsletter with someone who needs to be inspired to travel further.

Artists Who Inspire

 Artist: Zak Eazy

Light and magical, the beauty of photoshop is that you can bring your imagination to life. Here is another digital artist who helps you reimagine the world.... a world where nature, architecture, and animals coexist beautifully intertwined.

Surrealist art is by far my favourite!

Surrealism

focuses on tapping into the unconscious mind to release creativity and another famous surrealist artist that you might know is Salvadore Dali.

Back to Zak's work, he carves out a space so unique on Instagram, it feels like each post is a storybook all on its own.

Song of the week

This made my week! I was bouncing around when I first heard it and could not contain my excitement! Bruno Mars released a song in 2021! Not only him but a collaboration with Anderson, Paak, and Silk Sonic! It has so much soul! Turn this one up, HERE is the lyrics, take the time to learn the words and sing along! It's that kind of song.

ENJOY!

In case you don't have Spotify, HERE is the Youtube link to it. (You can thank Brian again!)
