Hello friends and family!
Happy Wednesday! Were you inspired to take a break last week? I got so many amazing responses from everyone and it showed me,
we all need to be reminded that we can take a break.
(12 of these later)...
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is appreciation.
Have you ever wanted to do something nice for someone just because you felt it? Not for any particular reason but just because you really wanted to?
We often feel as if we need to have a reason for to appreciate someone. Like it needs to be their birthday or it needs to be an anniversary, or they need to have accomplished something where the reward is a gift.
When in actual fact, we can appreciate people at any time because we feel like it!
For this week, go make someone smile!
You can give them a chocolate or fruit
Write them a message to tell them how amazing they are
You can help them with a task
Clean their space (this is a good one for anyone who is super busy)
You can make or buy them lunch.
Life is short! Go celebrate your favourite humans while you can.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Can you make a difference?
Yes, you can! Meet Alex Stephany!
One man making a difference to change a person's life and someone who has restored my faith in humanity for today!
All I googled was "people changing the world" and I found an article about him. (A small reminder to me that what I search for and watch makes a huge difference in where my attention goes)

Why is he amazing?
Because he noticed something and made a change.
Alex made friends with a homeless man and often bought him coffee. When this man had a heart attack and Alex thought
โWhat could we do to make a real difference to that manโs life?โ
This was it, the real difference was to help change this man's situation and this is how his company was born.
" At Beam, we crowdfund new career opportunities for homeless men and women. We provide them with a support network, from our support specialists to the kind strangers who fund their campaigns. We use technology to find scalable solutions to the toughest social problems - starting with homelessness."
I once had a conversation with a friend in Cape Town about homeless people in South Africa.
You see, I heard the phrase " they should just get a job" too often and I realised for a job you need an ID and for an ID you need money and a home address.
Can you spot the error in the system here?
"Maybe perspective will be the key to changing the world"
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Jars Arts
Been saving this one as I did not know when would be the right time to post it but the right time is now.
I came across Jars Arts through a travel tag and the whimsical details hooked me immediately. Each one of these artworks feels like a scene from a Studio Ghibli movie.
He creates these scenes with a bit of inspiration but then goes deep into his imagination to create a scene for each commission.
I am waiting for him to create some VR worlds that I can walk around in because that would be epic!

Song of the week
Ever hear a song that makes you stop and smile? This was it for me. This came on randomly the other day and I just stopped what I was doing and started smiling. I love music for this magic. You can instantly stop what you are doing be transformed into a different mood. Whatever your mood for today. Stop for a moment and turn up this track and smile!
In case you don't have Spotify, HERE is the Youtube link to it. (A big thank you to Brian for making Youtube happen!)
