Hello friends and family!
Welcome to your weekly dose of inspiration. I hope this break in your week brings you some happiness :)
Before I forget,
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is before 2.
Inspired by my best friend's little daughter, before 2 is my thoughts on the world and an almost 2-year-old, whom I hope will inspire us all.
This past week I got to experience the magic of the life of a little human. She is curious and bold. With the finite amount of words that she knows, she ordered me around to "sit, go, come, no, come, play, sit". Watching an almost 2-year-old command the world around her with such courage is inspiring.
Children come in all sorts of personalities and the curious ones are my favourite. They push boundaries, take risks and create their lives around them the way they want it.
When do we lose this spirit? As an ex-teacher, I saw that the schooling system plays a huge part in shaving off this curiosity. Then you have adults or people who have lived longer who define the paradigms of what is "possible". Thus sheltering this fierce spirit and ultimately killing it off.
What would happen if we lived life for a day as a 2-year-old?
Okay, there would be chaos for sure. But also it might be a super fun break from the reality of adulthood!
The task for this week:
Bring back the child-like wonder and go command the world around you like a fiery 2-year-old.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Artists Who Inspire

Artist: fhatuwanimukheli
Oeff! What an inspiration! This is the artist I needed to find this week. Sitting in Johannesburg's Slow Lounge at the airport and surrounded by amazing contemporary art it made me think this week's issue needs an amazing South African artist.
Instead of me describing what I felt, I will let them inspire you. Watch their ted talk below!

Song of the week
This week I am changing it up a bit and bringing you a beautiful concert. Some candy for your ears and soul! Marie-Pierra Kakoma is a Congolese- Belgian singer with a smooth sound a bit of Rnb, Soul, Hip hop, and Trap merged together. You don't need to understand the lyrics to feel the magic of this one. This week take some time for yourself, grab your favourite drink, and enjoy this concert!
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
