Hello friends and family!
A beautiful new week of the year and I am back with
A Dose of Inspiration
for the 3rd year in a row. Can you believe this? Me neither. I hope you had a restful break and are back with new energy for the year ahead.
A very warm
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is "Systems for life".
Over the last week, I have been going through my last year and thinking about this new one. (I still haven't done my Year Compass) So I might stretch my deadline until the end of Jan, how is your review going?
The one thing that has come to mind is to redo my systems of life.
The system for life is my different processes or habits for running my life.
I treat my life like a business and I make sure that everything is automated as much as possible. I don't want to have to think about recurring tasks each month, it all just gets done.
Some of my systems:
Finance block, doneeach month after payday. This is when I add a block of time to my calendar to pay everything that needs to be paid and I have a checklist so everything gets ticked off. Once the list is done then I am good until next month.
How can I make it more efficient? Since I just moved into this apartment, the best would be to set up autopay for all the bills. This way my time is saved.
Groceries - I need to eat and if I don't plan I end up spending much more money on takeouts. Now I usually do this on a Sunday morning, but seriously who wants to be spending Sunday morning in a busy store? Not me!
How can I make this part of my week and free up my Sunday morning? Maybe one afternoon after work? Maybe I can order it online and get it delivered if it works out cheaper. Remember for me, the quality of time spent is much more important than that 3RM delivery free.
Task this week:
Look at your life systems or create life systems.
How can you edit these to make your life run smoother this year?
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
How to Simplify Your Intentions and Realize Love – Humble the Poet
Humble the poet is one of my favourite voices on earth. I just got his new book and I am already hooked. This episode is a longer one but worth it if you take the time to listen.
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Neha Sahai
Instant love here! Meet Neha Sahai, the designer, and artist behind these beautiful works of art. Besides her beautiful floral illustrations, her Instagram bio caught my attention with this:
Not here to influence🌸 How wild it is to just let it be🌸
I love it and her work! Go...

Song of the week
Six years late finding this one! My heart skips a beat when I find such great gems but I also end up a little sad knowing that I could have been listening to this for the last 6 years. This is another band that I want to see live someday! Go grab your headphones and turn this one up. A taste of Brazil, can you feel it?
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
