Hello friends and family!

Happy Friday. I hope your week is going well. I wrote that intro 3 times because I apologized for this being late, then removed it because

hey...this is a newsletter done as a passion project, so why am I guilting and pressurizing myself with a self-imposed deadline. Ah to be human...it's a joke!

Anyway...here we go!

Hello and welcome

to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a

Dose of Inspiration

and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is thinking time.

In this fast-paced world with every app on your phone trying to get your attention and every moment of the day mapped out on a to-do list, do you ever give yourself time to think?

Our brains are so overloaded with everything that we consume each day but when you have any whitespace of free time to stare at a blank wall and think about things?

I got a reminder about this last week when I felt overloaded by the pressure of the world and the year. (Yes even I feel this...side note...just because I write about all these things doesn't mean I have it figured out. I am still on my journey with this and nowhere near having it all figured out.)

So I took time to think, to stare into the nothingness, and let my mind sort through all the overwhelming thoughts and ideas. At the end of this session, I took out a book and pen and began to write it all down in the form of questions and answers.

I asked myself questions and then gave myself space to answer. What I learned through this exercise is that I need to add space to think in my life. This is where the magic starts...

Task for the week:

  • Add in some time into your schedule and use it to think through something that is on your mind.

  • When you are done journal some questions and answers around it.

  • You never know what you solve in your life.

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Alex Hormozi: Daily Habits That Will Make You Rich

I love hearing that others have different schedules from the 5 am club and that it works. So here you go a quick reminder that habits are the basis for successful change in your life.

Artists Who Inspire

 Artist: ANTONIUS-TÍN BUI

This one is magic. This Vietnamese - American artist from New York creates these powerful and intricate artworks. If you have ever held one of these cards or seen the paper carvings from Asia, you will know how detailed it can be.

Here we see a whole new level of this art form. I love that he uses art to educate and shock people into conscious topics. This is the beauty of art. It can make a protest taste like delicious chocolate cake.

Song of the week

Ah, the vibes! This song is a whole vibe! I hosted a party at 9am this Monday with my fellow Culture team members for the company and had to add some songs to the mix. This was one of them. African Vibes is one song that takes me back to my—days of DJ life. When tribal music was the only thing I listened to and wanted to play. This week get up and dance. There is no way that you can sit still for this song...and if you can please hit reply and let me know.

Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
