Hello friends and family!
I hope you had a great Valentine's week and treated yourself to a moment of sweetness! Also, did you manage to spread some love to those around you? I gifted myself 30 hours of dancing bachata over one weekend and it was pure magic 💫.
(Dance is my love language)
A quick
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is "perspective"
I was trying to think of the best theme for the week, since this week has been insanely busy for me and everything was inspirational.
A quick backstory to the week: Bachata festival ended in Singapore and after 30 hours of dancing I had to get back to adulting at work on Monday (remotely of course). Then had a full day of work and dinner in Singapore on Tuesday before heading back to Kuala Lumpur. Enter Wednesday when I arrive at 3:30am back in KL and get to work at 10 am. This day ends at midnight. Cue Thursday and another full day's work which ends at 11 pm because we had awards night. Then Friday morning for work, afternoon to volunteer, and straight home to pack a bag and go on a road trip to the beach on the other side of Malaysia. I just got back a few hours ago and it's 11:20 pm on Sunday.
Now, as hectic as this week was, and not going to lie, I was super tired for most of it...but I did it. And looking back on the week, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
I wanted to dance the full festival, create love week for the team, launch the CRS project, and start giving back here in Malaysia, on top of this I wanted to see my friends who were only here for specific days and do a road trip with another friend.
When you change your perspective on things it really does make a huge difference in what you can achieve.
I changed the language from "I have to do ___" to "I want to do this" and "it's already scheduled so I am doing it". This brought an entirely new energy to the week.
Task this week:
Find something that you want to shift the energy around.
Decide on the language that you are going to use to fuel yourself with energy.
See if this makes a difference for you, and let me know too...I am curious about your journey.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
Meditation vs Breathwork: Huberman’s Lab New Study (2023)
With this busy week, I got a moment to sit and breathe for about 40 mins. It felt like heaven, a moment of pure stillness and I somehow forgot that I could do this at any time.
This week I want to reshare with you 2 techniques to learn to have this moment of stillness whenever you need it.
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Adam Himoff
Maybe this newsletter will be the last documentation of artists, the ones who create in the real world.
Anyway, meet Adam Himoff, I found him last week and fell in love with ribbon sculptures. I love patterns and line work and his paintings are incredible.
By the way...have you found your favorite artist through this newsletter? Hit reply at the end and let me know.

Song of the week
One of the most beautiful songs I have heard in a while! This was played during one of the dance workshops last week by Gatica and Melvin. My brain froze and keeping up in that class while this played was useless. On this occasion, it's okay because I got this gem. Take a moment, grab your headphones, and close your eyes. Let this song take you off on a journey. Even after playing it a few times it still brings me happiness and joy! Hope this brings you some smiles this week
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
