Hello friends and family!
I hope you are having an amazing week! Last week's theme got great feedback on "how do you want to be loved". This is a powerful question and if you missed it go back and take a look at Issue 111.
Anyway, let's go,
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is 'expanding goals'.
I touched down in Singapore after a week of intense learning, meetings, conferences, art, and dancing in Dubai. Can one week really expand your goals and dreams? Yes, it can!
Last Saturday I attended a Mindvalley event in Dubai. This is a 2-day event with a few speakers and around 2000 attendees. This was my first event at Mindvalley where I was an attendee. I got to sit in the audience and watch the speakers.
Now, this might not sound like a big thing but sitting there watching these speakers especially Lisa Nicols reminded me of how far I have come. Back in 2019, I was sitting at my desk preparing lessons for kids and watching these talks on Youtube. Now I am here in person and watching it live.
A huge moment of gratitude. I had the same feeling while seeing art in person at Art Dubai and when I stumbled on El Seed's art gallery by accident and saw his work live. Sitting there and seeing life play out like this reminded me that a new level of life has been unlocked with new goals and new ideas.
There is more but I want to stop here and ask you to put yourself in spaces that challenge you and your goals. Spaces that make you level up and grow in ways that comfort never would. The is so much magic in this experience.
This week's task:
Think of your goals and ideas for life.
Now find spaces to create, expand and challenge your goals.
Make 2023 the year of experimenting with life.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
20 MOVES IN 20 MINUTES | Bodyweight Strength & Mobility Workout
March and I am back to resetting my fitness. The idea for the year is that I take the first week of the month to really reset my fitness and health. I will gym and stretch as much as possible and eat healthily and cook most of my meals. It's the new plan for 2023. When I get busy I drop my workout routine and this year I created a new system to solve this.
A monthly check-in and reset week happens in the first week of each month. If you are keen to join here is a great light video to get you started.
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Zico Albaiquni
I knew it would be worth the wait! Meet Zico Albaiquni from Indonesia this is the first artist that blew me away at Art Dubai this week.
His work reminds me of
, it's vibrant and intense with layers of society's issues wrapped up inside it.
A new top favourite artist, I need time to sit and watch his artwork to really take it all in. Can't wait until I see a full exhibition from him.

The second artist treat ✌🏾

Artist: Youdhisthir Maharjan
Another gem at Art Dubai, Youdhisthir Maharjan gave me hope for the future of art. His work is meticulous and detailed. One piece takes an entire month to finish. From the cut-out letter of words from a book to pasting them together again, each piece stunned everyone who came into the booth. AI art will never give us the same moment of awe when seeing how long a human spent to create something beautiful. I now see that handcrafted detailed art will always remain.
"My work is laborious and mundane, and so, meditative and transcendental. It does not involve thinking or making decisions.Just repetition of the same thing over and over again, freeing your mind from being occupied with questions and worries. It empties your mind, allowing you to think nothing and experience eternity. Eternal nothingness."

Song of the week
You want to listen to this one! It's so beautiful! I think I said wow at least 5 times while watching it. His voice is so soft and light. Bossa Nova done right! It's like ice cream on a summer day. This week turn it up and take the 3:14 break to enjoy this video.
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
