and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is "Scaling down"

April seems to be the month to disappear for me. I need to retreat back into my own mind, space, and ideas. In all honestly, I need space to get clarity. Have you ever gone through a time when everything seems to be moving too fast and when your day-to-day tasks are draining you?

That is where I am. I am slowly becoming more blocked from ideas and I can't seem to get a decent amount of headspace to figure it out. Without going into the details of how I got here...I want to share my thought process to get out of this space.

Now if you know me personally then you will know that I have evolved my life over 9 times. Changed jobs, countries, and circles of friends and set up and packed up a very good life multiple times. It's a skill for sure.

But with these moves come the transition spaces and phases. Moments, where I am not sure if staying or moving on, is a good thing. If the life I have or the unknown future is what I should take. It is cloudly and tense, filled with anxiety, and noted by the fact that I start biting my nails. I search for solutions, for roadmaps and there are none.  Because no one has lived this path I am creating so who do I go to for advice?

(Side note there is no planned move or a big jump in the near future, just sharing on this newsletter)

Here is my current process:

  • I make space in my calendar and decline all meetups with new people. (Sorry enough OGs in my life and those are the ones I make space for)

  • I stare at walls more often (not sure if this works but it helps to clear my mind sometimes)

  • I talk to the universe/ god for solutions. Basically leaving it up to it to provide me with the answers.

  • I keep a fitness routine. This is probably the most useful one because when I am in this cloudy state of mind being healthy keeps my brain on the more positive side of solutions.

  • Write more. The key to finding answers and the next steps is writing down your problems, and emotions and moving forward with a solution.

Now, this is all before the action stage. For now, I am giving my brain and emotions space to explore everything. It's messy and uncomfortable and I don't like to be around people when I am in this space or if I am I prefer not to talk.

Task this week:

  • If you are in a similar space take an hour this week to scale down your month and maybe you will find some solutions.

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

How to Get Ahead of 99% of People (Starting Today)

Another great one from Mark Manson! Take 12 minutes to watch this, especially if you think a morning routine is a key to success.

Artists Who Inspire

 Artist: David Popa

I don't even know where to begin describing this week's artist. This is pure magic for sure. What you see above is art on glaciers. He creates these pieces in about 4 hours and when they melt the art is gone.

Song of the week

What a great voice! This week take the time and watch the video. Listen to the flow but more important stay for the magic that starts at 2mins.

Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
