Hello friends and family!

I hope you are having a great weekend. Blessings to everyone celebrating Eid around the world, it's been amazing to see how everyone from different parts of the world celebrated this year.

A beautiful

hello and welcome

to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a

Dose of Inspiration

and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is "timing".

We have definitely dipped into timing before.  But as of last week, I had a moment of reflection on a dream I mapped out in 2020. In 2020 I put down creating conversational events as a goal. Then of course the COVID hit and that got pushed to the side as I dove into other things to mentally survive the pandemic.

Fast forward to last week, and I decided to finally kick it off. I mapped out the event, gathered a list of people who would be the perfect match for this topic, sent the invites, and then created one of my best events to date.

Now if you have been following this newsletter for a while you know the premise is on inspiration and I hope that with each artist, video, or theme you find a nugget of inspiration for your week. Imagine the expansion of this to events....that is what it was.

An event centered around love. The conversation went deep and the rule of no small talk was added in for people to find creative ways to uncover how the others ended up at this event. A few good rules make for a beautifully structured yet freeing event.

Back to "timing", had I set up this event in 2020, it would have been a mild event. Run with an idea but without the depth. In 2021 I did a few coaching certificates, got to redo my goals, started this newsletter, and expanded my network of people here. In 2022 I explored and worked on events, I started creating Mindvalley's culture events for the team and created events for kids. All these moments carved out my views that I should be doing events and actually I should be creating events for myself.

Sometimes you don't understand moments until you map them out backward. How many times have you been frustrated with life's course without realizing that you were still carving out your path?

Task this week:

  • Go back to your goals from previous years and list all the ones you haven't started yet.

  • Are there any big dreams that you are now ready to start?

  • I urge you to test out one of them. Who knows this could be a massive success.

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Some love from this first event!

Some insight, inspiration and wisdom from Alan Watts. I love that this man who died in the 70s is still so relatable today.

Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Gisela Charfauros McDaniel

An artist after my own heart. She reminds me of Seoymilk, the Korean artist based in LA. If I could, I would love for these two artists to collaborate on a mural in my future art gallery. (Yes I am manifesting this).

Meet Gisela, a Chammoran artist.

Her work centers around the bodies of women and their voices, especially related to gender-based violence. Take a moment to scroll through her work. It's intense and beautiful.

Song of the week

This was a gift from a friend a few weeks back and I have had this artist on repeat. Such beautiful sounds. It was one of the songs on the event playlist. That playlist is so good. If you have Spotify and would like to hear it, reply and let me know and I will send it to you. Curating playlists ...I usually let Spotify do this but I realize how much joy I get from making my own playlist. This week grab those headphones, sit back and let this one take you away. (Brian this one is especially for you)

Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
