Hello friends and family!
What a great end to April. I had an extremely busy month with 3 different events on top of work and side projects. A busy life but the life I chose. How is your month of April been?
A quick
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is "April Reflection"
As we close off this month and the end of the first quarter of the year let's take a moment to reflect back.
Has the year been going as planned? How are your health, finances, schedule, work, and relationships going? (Take a moment to breathe and think about these things)
Moments of reflection are a very powerful tool to align and redirect so you are moving in the best direction
for yourself.
Instead of doing this just once a year, we can add a few more checkpoints to our lives to make sure we are on track.
Task for this week:
Write a letter to yourself detailing the last four months, this can be in bullet points or an essay form, either way, write down the highlights, low moments, and things to improve.
A better way is the 'start, stop, continue' method that startups use to cut anything not brining in revenue, which I use for life.
What do I want to start in the next few months?
What should I stop doing?
What should I continue?
This a simple but effective recipe for clarity.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
Sri Lanka 4K - Scenic Relaxation Film With Calming Music
I had an entirely different video this week but while I was looking for new music I found this gem. So this week I am gifting you some inspiration for travel, nature, and peace. Enjoy!
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Shigeki Matsuyama / 松山しげき
Someone different this week, Meet artist Shigeki from Japan. I saw this and felt conflicted immediately. Something in her eyes and the randomness of the stripes stirred up some uneasy feelings.
Then I knew I had to share this one. What do you feel with this artist's work?

Song of the week
Wow! That's all I can say about finding this gem. What an incredible sound, message, and artist. I have been searching for independent artists to share in this newsletter and am glad to find Ren. Here is another GEM from him. This week take a moment to think about which musical artists you support, what they stand for, and whether are they making it in the industry. Oh yes and enjoy the song!
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
