Hello friends and family!
Hope your Sunday is going well. 6 Months into this year. Can you believe the time has gone so fast? I hope you have kicked off the month with some good energy...if not, hope this dose will give you some.
A warm
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is "knowledge".
For the past month, I have been on a new journey with doctors, physios, youtube, store assistants, yoga teachers, and friends who know. I have a few injuries and because of this I now have a ton of "random" information on how my muscles are connected and even more knowledge on shoes.
Did you know that gym shoes and running shoes are not the same? You should not wear running shoes at the gym, especially if you are weight training. Now for me who dances everywhere and at any time...in any shoes, this was not something I was not paying attention to at all.
Anyway, back to the theme. How many times does something come up and we just live with it or pause it and save it for a future date to fix? This is mostly because of the lack of knowledge and dedicating time to resolve it.
When actually the knowledge is out there, you can learn anything online and find people who can help you. I forgot that people who work in retail are trained and know everything about the product they are selling especially at specialty stores (the guy at the running shoe store gave me a full breakdown of why gym shoes and running shoes are not the same, also what to look out for when choosing a good shoe for training and even a few stretching tips for my injuries).
Task this week:
Make a list of 5 current problems that you are facing in your life.
Pick 1
Do some light research on youtube for a solution. (Now youtube is filled with everything so find good sources of knowledge)
See if you can start solving it this week.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
How to turn your Neighborhood into a Village
Imagine if we redesigned neighborhoods to work for communities...to provide food, safety, spaces to relax, joint care for kids, and more. Walking around KL I realize how anti-community big cities are developed to be. Humans will find communities and create them around shared hobbies and interests but what if spaces were designed with people in mind?
How do Andrew Millison's ideas match your current living space?
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Wigulin
I took a detour from AI art after Art Dubai. Seeing months of work put into 1 piece of art, I valued those over a few sessions on mid-journey until I came across Wigulin's work recently.
The beauty of his work is that it allows us to reimagine humans. I saw the woman in the middle and thought 'Yes, why not...I hope I am that bold when I am older. And this is the power of creativity in all forms. It gives us a moment to reflect and choose a different idea.

Song of the week
One of my favourite artists is back with another gem breaking stereotypes and pushing boundaries in the cultural world. If you remember I shared "Very few friends" in issue 98. I adore him for his activism and message beyond the music. (🇵🇸♥️) 1 song and three different languages mixed with a great beat and lyrics that push the norms of society and the view of Arabic men. I don't want to spoil it and overshare so check out the song. For this month take some time to play your favourite songs ...life is too short!
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
