A Dose of Inspiration

Hello Friends and Family!
Notice something new? Welcome to the next level of A Dose of Inspiration. I have spent the day learning a new platform and migrating my newsletter over to this new space.
I hope it makes it to your inbox in one piece. If anything looks off or is broken, please let me know so I can resolve this. It is a work in progress as I take this brand to the next level. (Yes I said itā¦Dose of Inspo is on its way to being a brand of creativity, inspiration, connection, and play)
The theme of this week is 'GROW'.
I knew at some point this newsletter would grow and I would have to take it seriously but I was not concerned. It was more of an afterthought for a someday situation. It was a hobby and nothing more.
Fast forward to today when I needed to have this mapped out and migrated to a new space. I am realizing how much I have grown since I started this newsletter back in Jan 2021.
When I started I did not know how Mailchimp worked. I watched a bunch of youtube videos and read through the support center pages for help. I created designs on Canva and put all the pieces together. This took me days.
Now I understand the format, and the terms used, I know why you need the re-opt-in function for subscribers to opt-in again. I have learned so much over these 2 years., that making a new design, landing page, and setting it all up takes a few hours.
This is all possible because I started, played with it, and kept going.
I know there is that ONE project that you have been wanting to start but you keep putting it off for various reasons. Today I urge you to begin!
Your task this week:
Pick up a pen and paper then map it out. Brainstorm your idea.
And start!
You never know what this thing ends up becoming someday!
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
Inspire Me!
Janelle MonĆ”e: Whether I Show Skin or Not, I Wonāt Adjust My Freedom for Your Comfort
Imagine a world where people could be free, wear what they want, dress how they want, and live life in a space where bodies and the way you dress are not part of some political agenda or sexualized to the point of harm.
There would be so much free time and brain space to collectively to solve other problems.
Artists Who Inspire
Aljoscha

Some art needs to be experienced in person. One of those whose work needs to be seen for scale and awe is Aljoscha.
Creating his vision for the future where we merge life with biofuturism and create aesthetics based on organisms. His art reminds me of the particles you see in your eyes when you are out in nature. The sheer scale of his work makes me add this to my art bucket list, have you created yours yet?
āI hope we can transform ourselves into a new species which cares for all kinds of life and for maintaining the highest possible level of biological diversity on Earth,ā - Aljoscha.
Song of the week
A good one for your morning playlist! Let this be the reminder to add some dancing in whenever you can. Life is short and we should be dancingā¦living and loving more!
And itās a very epic dance video too. Enjoy this weekās song selection!
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
Final thoughts:
As you clear each level of life that final push across the finish line will require extra energy and effort. You will not only need a higher level of focus but also need to tap into more determination and dedication to get this done.
Have you committed to your vision for your life? This is the starting point.
(I almost napped instead of doing this newsletterā¦but I made a promise to have it out each week and I committed!)
āHow did it get so late so soon?ā
