💫 A Dose of Inspiration
Hello friends and family.
Happy Week! I hope your week was filled with great music and big jumps! For a Sunday night, I have so much energy…I have been planning the great South American adventure and watching a ton of youtube vlogs on travelers exploring Colombia and Brazil. So excitement is high…
Random tip before every trip binge a few vlogs on youtube, you will find some gems, learn how to not get scammed in certain cities, and see how many different people navigate through this world.
The theme of this week is “Build and Ship It”
One of the lessons that came up this past week was to release ideas into the world fast. I have spent the last 2 weeks learning framer.com and figuring out how to make a website. Thanks to youtube I can learn anything.
Now over these past 2 weeks, I spent too many hours trying to learn and perfect this website. Then getting stuck, wanting to give up and build it on Notion (you know my love for Notion haha) then coming back and challenging myself to continue.
A few good friends reminded me of this idea of “build it and ship it” (a term common in the tech space) but hey we can use this for life and art.
It means creating an idea and releasing it to the world. If it sucks you can update it later with the feedback you get. Most of the time it’s probably good enough as is. So tomorrow I will release this terrible website of mine. Prepare to be amazed in the next issue.
Your task this week:
If you have a project, idea, or art piece that you are working on and are stuck or waiting for it to be perfect? Finish it and go release it into the world within 24 hours.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
Ramit Sethi is my go-to person for anything and everything finance related. If you need some finance inspiration go read “I will teach you to be rich”. If you have an hour-ish to spare go watch his talk with Steven from Diary of a CEO.
Artists Who Inspire
Michu Haile

Look at this magic. Meet Michu Haile, a digital illustrator creating gems by infusing Ethiopian history, culture, and her unique style. I love it!
Still, lots to come from this artist, I stalked her work online and I can see her style developing into a very powerful force. I always feel like African artists need more platforms to share their work. Anyway enjoy this one and go buy a poster.
Song of the week
Something chilled for your soul. A friend shared this with me and I fell in love. This song takes you on a solid journey, wait for that saxophone and vocals to hit. Also, I think this video perfectly describes the vibe of South Africa and the beat of my nation. Take a listen if you want to feel the SA vibe!
Also, try to not dance...I challenge you. (personally, it’s impossible for me)
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
Final thoughts:
Most times we create our own roadblocks in life…make sure to take time weekly to reassess your own life, to ensure that you are not the one holding you back.
BTW I resigned last week and will be going on the biggest South American adventure …so be prepared for some serious travel inspiration in mid-November. The aim is to close off this decade (39) by ticking off my biggest goal.
“We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.”
✈️ Final note...I Made This...You can click the link below to buy That Travel Book (My first baby). Please drop an Amazon review as well…much needed for that platform. Thank you!
