🌿 What would you do if you were inspired? Issue 148

💫 A Dose of Inspiration

Hello friends and family,

Another late one. It’s 11 pm on a Sunday night. I have left this for the last hour of the week and this is something I wish to change starting next week. Thank you for continuing to read this newsletter and follow along for inspiration.

I hope your November is going well, and that you are safe, heart happy, and loved.

The theme of this week is “Courage”

I spent my first full week in Chile. 7 days in a Spanish-speaking country and 7 days of life in a new city. Still strange to think that this goal has been on my list for over 10 years.

I am still wondering why I waited so long with this one. But anyway back to navigating life. I had to fix a sim card - Imagine you have one that works, has data, and should connect to the wifi but it doesn’t. Now imagine having to explain this to a store assistant in a different language. Hilarious but I figured it out.

I also went to the tailor to get a dress fixed, to the bank, got set up at a coworking space, and took 3 dance classes. BTW salsa in Santiago is amazing!

All this newness on an everyday basis is tiring for sure and there is the added level of anxiety to manage, however, this is the trade-off for the dream of living in a Spanish-speaking country.

Every dream comes with some ‘bad/ hard parts’… this is a fact. What’s your dream and are you ready to conquer the hard part?

Your task this week:

  • Write down your biggest dream and map out the hard parts. Then decide if it’s really worth it.

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Yes Theory is back with videos that I absolutely adore. This is one of the first video concepts that hooked me in. Surviving in a place by the goodness of complete strangers. Enjoy Surviving in China with $0 for 24 Hours.

Artists Who Inspire

La Maceta Colora

I got lost this week, my brain was on the list of things I needed to do for work, life, and everything else and I missed the exit for the street that I needed to be on. Some time later I realised what had happened and decided to go with it. I turned right on the next street and walked straight into an art market with live music.

Then I found this amazing artist with her beautiful designs. Not only is she creating these gorgeous patterns but she is making products too. My first Chilean artist to be featured 🙂

Song of the week

A little taste of Brazilian funk. You can’t imagine all the great live music in Sao Paulo. It seemed like every street corner on the weekend had an amazing live band.

For this week, turn it up and get up and dance …then save it for when you need a pick me up.

Final thoughts:

Not everyone gets this one life that you have. I hope that you find the courage to live it!

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”
