🌿 What would you do if you were inspired? Issue 149

šŸ’« A Dose of Inspiration

Hello friends and family,

Another Sunday and another Dose of Inspiration. I can’t complain about writing it today instead of Tuesday because this week was full of inspiration for this issue.

I hope your November is wrapping up nicely. I am sure you don’t need this beautiful reminder that we have 1 more month left of 2023.

Are there any dreams, ideas, goals, or wishes still left unchecked? You have some days left to start before we close off this year.

The theme of this week is ā€œBlended Loveā€

My heart is super full after yesterday’s wedding. I got to share and witness two amazing humans get married in Chile. This is by far one of my favorite weddings because of the blended cultures coming together.

More than the blended cultures, it’s the magic of blended love.

We grow up in a family, and society and are surrounded by media to create a version of love. Then we meet someone and hope these two versions match up. But what if you are from two different cultures and societies entirely…

What are the chances of this working out? How do you make it work out? Isn’t love already hard? Why complicate it … right?

I think this is the magic of love. It overlooks all of these things if you allow it to.

  • It will bring two families across the oceans to meet, dance, and share their love.

  • It will bring friends from the ends of the earth to come together.

  • It will create a future where more little humans see across borders and have a deeper understanding of others.

Maybe this is the key to a more unified world…

Your task this week:

  • Appreciate yourself for all the times you allowed yourself to love someone.

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

On the theme of love …. what does it feel like for you and when did you know for sure? If you have a moment this week, hit reply and let me know.

I would appreciate the insight to widen my perspective on this 😊

Artists Who Inspire

Geenss Archenti

Will try to promote as many artists from the region while I am here. For now, meet Geenss Archenti, a Peruvian visual artist who creates these mystical pieces. His work is even more special because he captures the curanderas or shamans in his work. This is a good artist to follow if you are interested in any plant medicine and their journeys.

Song of the week

Have you heard any music from Kazhakstan yet? If not, let me introduce you to Dimash, the most popular singer in the country.

One of the highlights of this weekend was a ride back home with the bride’s cousins who gave a me lesson in different music from their country. I also found a new instrument called the dombra (check it out here).

Enjoy some newness to your playlist.

Final thoughts:

Life is short…love more!

ā

ā€œBut how will I know who my Soulmate is?ā€ Brida felt that this was one of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life.
By taking risks’ she said to Brida. ā€˜ By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in you search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.ā€

― Paulo Coelho, Brida
