I hope you had a great week. Can you believe we are 2 weeks away from 2024? Let’s take a moment to pause and what’s your biggest highlight of this year…

I hope that brought a smile to your face 🙂 Well done on making it through another year on earth.

The theme of this week is “Chaos and Beauty”

I have said this phrase several times over the past week when people asked me how was Valparaiso (the city on the coast of Chile). It’s a mix of chaos and beauty.

Like life, it’s a fusion and you can stand on either side and hold just one opinion about the place. It can seem chaotic with its murals and tagging or, if you stop for a moment and look around at the musicians walking by, the poets in the cafe scribbling on notebooks and the drag queen at 1 am reminding us to take an uber home, it’s beautiful.

There is magic in being able to hold two opposing ideas in your mind, accept them both as a reality and move forward with your life.

Your task this week:

• Take some time to make a list of a few ideas that you hold on strongly to.

• Write down if you feel that are slowing you down or holding you back from moving forward or taking action on something.

• Be honest with this…2 weeks left, we could release some major baggage before the year starts

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love. 

It’s been a while since I dove into this channel’s goodness. I love what they are doing, yes dangerous but a good reminder that at the core of it, we are all humans with the same basic needs, wants, and connections.

I wandered around the streets of Valpo and found this gem. A small side alley that houses this gallery and art studio run by 4 friends, artists, and photographers. They capture the magic of this city through analog photography and screen printing.

They also share the creative process with everyone who walks through the gallery and you can see the passion and dedication to the art, city, and through all the projects to give back to those around them. Started in 2015, I am amazed to see this hidden gem still going strong. Someday I will come back and grab a piece…
