I hope you are well. I am sending a big hug from this side of the world to wherever you are. Hope your weekend is amazing and filled with some goodness for your soul.

The theme of this week is “The Boldest in the world”

This thought has been floating around my head for days. I was watching a young girl selling some cheese in the street today. This is not the first time I have seen her. She is often around either selling something or asking for cash.

Something about her approach stood out, she changed her whole behavior every time she spoke to a new person. She became meek and helpless, soft-spoken and almost whispering what she wanted.

This is a product of her circumstances. But this got me thinking about how it affects her positioning in the world, what about getting a job someday…how do you take this experience and turn it into the confidence that employees are looking for?

A whole foundation layer of society worldwide, men and women are in this situation where they learn to be meek and mild to ask for their basic needs. Looking at the state of the world, I know we need bolder humans to stand up and fix society.

…next thought…is confidence reserved for the privileged?

I love Mr Beast, purely because he is the definition of creating his own path. He made a lot of money and is actively giving it away. I would love to see how this village develops in the future.

FYI, I have a very strong stance on Africa, handouts, savior complex, and poverty mentality but, seeing the outcome of a village creating entrepreneurs, I know he is on to something. Enjoy this one.
