Hello friends and family!
Wow, what a week! But we made it, we survived another week of life on earth! If you were happy and at peace, well done! You won this round!
BTW read 'til the end for this week's fresh treat!
A quick,
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is Perspective!
Last week I got a major lesson in perspective as I sat 8,330 km from my country (South Africa) while it was on fire, with violence and looting.
I had to sit, watch, read and listen to comments from people in different groups, websites, videos, and on the news. Everyone with a different perspective of what is going on.
The hard truth to this was that even when I disagreed with a comment, I had to remember that everyone's perspective on this is right.
From the person throwing a rock out of hunger or anger, to the store owner who is angry, to the police, to the government, to my family and friends, to the kids who followed the crowd and then took things from the store.
Everyone is right in their own mind!
Our views, values, and perspectives are molded by our upbringing, society, and our circumstances. This is how we define what is right and wrong, what we will do and won't do; most importantly where the boundaries lie.
I do not condone the violence but this week, I was forced to understand it.
How often do you sit down and take into consideration all perspectives when you disagree? The task for this week:
Start looking for ways to challenge your perspective in life. You could surprise yourself and find out something that might need an upgrade!
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Can 1 person start a movement of hope?
Yes, they can! This week I watched as Emelda Masango's Facebook post went viral and then inspired thousands of people to clean up South Africa.
This is it! It just takes one person to make the first move and then inspire millions to do the same.

This one small initiative created a ripple effect and now you have a movement of people in South African unified and ready to rebuild what was broken.
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Teddy
Meet Teddy, actually, I have no idea who this artist is or anything else about him/ her/non-gender specific, except for the fact that they make this 3D art of Teddy bears on Blender.
Now you may look at this and think,
"this is not art"
. Maybe a year ago I would have thought the same but the art world is evolving and then again ....we know the beauty of art is in the eye of the beholder.
So technically anything can be art if you say so!

Song of the week
I can imagine us walking down a street in bell-bottoms or at a roller rink on skates. It's got that 70's feeling and her voice is smooth like butter! This band is soooo good! I was hooked from the first song and the entire album is this smooth. Easy listening with an amazing band. Go watch them on Youtube it's better to see the band play "live". HERE is the Youtube link to it. ( ArigatÅgozaimashita Brian!)
