Hello friends and family!
Here we are! Week 29 of A Dose of Inspiration. I am so excited as this grows in numbers but more importantly because you all return each week to enjoy this little break with me.
Before I forget,
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is Build Something!
Inspired by 2 friends this week, one who built his first piece of furniture and one who is building a platform for his course.
One of the best sources of joy in your life can come from building something from start to finish.
It's a different kind of joy, not one that you get from a great meal, or a fun adventure with friends. This is joy mixed with pride, struggle, determination, sleepless nights, and a feeling of accomplishment.
I remember the first draft of my book and how many sleepless nights I had to get it to completion. But having it complete and seeing it traveling around with others brings me so much happiness.
You never know what you can accomplish until you try...
This week's task is to make a list of things you want to build/ create.
Look for something that you have always wanted to do.
It can be something that will make your life easier.
It can be something to help someone else.
Come back next week and we will take this idea to the next level :)
(Side note: That Travel Book is on sale this week on Amazon if you are interested! Please leave a review)
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Artists Who Inspire

Artist: NIKO CHRISTIAN
A touch of magic this week. This colorful piece found me in the middle of chaos when I needed a breath of air and I fell in love instantly. It reminds me of 70's style art but with a contemporary twist to it.
Then I read his bio and found this ...
Instead of drowning in 21st century seas of isolation, Niko “just keeps swimming,” using art as a life jacket to explore and examine the world, and to be perpetually reminded you can touch heaven from anywhere.
He gets it!

Song of the week
This is my newest obsession purely because it samples the song that introduced me to Spanish in 2001. This moment at the MTV music award with the collaboration between Son by Four and Nsync. Watch it HERE. Now brought back to life by Luis Fonsi and Rauw Alejandro. This came on randomly the other day and I melted. From my heart to yours...Enjoy this one!
