Hello friends and family!
Another Wednesday and another Issue of A Dose of Inspiration. Not gonna lie. I am actually quite tired at the moment and the 2 newsletters that I just wrote did not save but here we go...3rd time lucky! (I hope your week is going well)
Mentally I am done for this week ... but more on that after our hellos.
A very warm
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is inboxes.
I miss the days when I had 1 email inbox to check and only messages on my phone to reply to and everyone called each other.
(Also it was short calls because we had prepaid top-ups haha)
Now I have 4 inboxes (2 for work, 1 for projects and 1 personal), I have Facebook inbox, Instagram inbox, Whatsapp daily messages from too many groups, Kakao messenger (my Korean group), Linkedin messages and I know I am forgetting one or two but this should give you an idea of the absurdity of attention needed daily.
My question is when did this become acceptable? Why have I unconsciously let this expand into so many channels for communication?
This is it, we don't notice changes until it's too late unless we are mindful of every part of our lives.
Your task this week is to take a look at your own life and see if there is anything in your way of living that is as absurd as what I just described.
Rethink it and see if you are still going to continue with it.
For me, I might need to make peace with this is how life is or I might scale down.
My immediate solution is no message zones between 8pm and 10am. That will give my mind a nice break from it all. But it doesn't solve the fact that everything needs replies.
If you have a solution ...hit reply at the end and let me know. :)
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Jarlin
A big thank you to Shushan for sharing her favourite artists with us.
Meet Jarlin an artist from Armenia who makes these beautiful illustrations filled with personality. I love her style. I am glad more illustrators from around the world are sharing more on social media so we can see their creations.
Click on the links below to check out her work.

Song of the week
The song you didn't know you needed in your life. How is this song 2 years old and I am only finding it now? There are so many ways that you can enjoy this song...
Sunday afternoon with headphones on
House cleaning day..it feels like it's that kind of song.
Getting ready in the morning..it can work for this too.
Let me know how you like to enjoy this one!
In case you don't have Spotify, HERE is the Youtube link to it. (You can thank Brian)
