The theme of this week is goodness!
Last weekend I gifted myself an entire weekend of good music. I got to listen to great songs, dance in my apartment, sing karaoke and watch a live jazz band jam session. The amount of happiness I felt on Sunday was enormous.
How did I create this happiness?
I found something I loved.
I planned mini dates with myself to enjoy it. (Saturday night I had a picnic on my balcony with candles, wine, pizza, chocolates and I spent 6 hours listening to my favourite songs, a treat just for me.)
I took charge to block this weekend out for myself and committed to making this happen. I said no to calls about work, said no to meetups with people and no to studying.
This week's task:
Find something you love
Create a date for yourself to go do this (or multiple mini dates with it like I did)
Commit to doing it and blocking out the time for yourself.
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
