🌿What would you do if you were inspired? - Issue 69 ⭐

Hello friends and family!

Yip, it's Thursday and this is "late" in the land of newsletters. I was very tempted to bang out something quick yesterday but I could not even form a decent sentence. My immune system crashed and I got a cold. Thank you to passenger 42J on Emirates from Cape Town to Dubai. I miss covid days of seat spacing where an empty seat next to me was mandatory! Anyway let's get to it!

A joyful

hello and welcome

to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a

Dose of Inspiration

and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is 'Return'.

I had so many ah-ha moments on this trip back, too many to fill it here. The one which stood out the most was the moment I ate pasta at Angelos (A restaurant in Port Elizabeth)

You see, Angelos is one of my favourite restaurants and it was a place where I would go to hang out when I was younger because the pasta was huge and it was cheap. I remember saving coins to have enough money for the pasta (back then it was R18), a drink, and the multiple taxi fares back home.

Now here I sat many years later and an entirely different version of myself. I think little me would be proud of everything I have done and accomplished.

There is a quote that matches this moment,

"Go laugh in the places you've cried. Change the narrative."

The task for this week:

  • Pick a place that holds some memory, it can be good or bad, and go sit there.

  • Think about how far you have come in your own life. How old you were and how have you grown?

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Why you’re always tired (+ food fixes!) 🍜

Sadia is one of my all-time favorite Youtubers. I go to her when I need some inspiration for healthy eating. Enjoy and go binge her other videos!

Artists Who Inspire

 Artist: R Y

Something different this week. Meet RY, nothing much on his profile to send me into a spiral of googling to uncover where he sources his inspiration. So I have only these pieces to share.

How cool is it that someone takes this much time to create such intricate work?

Song of the week

Oh, I love this one! Such a gem. This is one of those songs that I need to see live with all the instruments. After 69 weeks of hunting for different music, I now know I cannot pick a favourite genre because there is so much good music out there! This week, sit back and enjoy this gem.

Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
