🌿 What would you do if you were inspired? - Issue 78⭐

Hello friends and family!

Happy Thursday! Yes, this is late but for a good reason. I had a bit of surgery at the dentist yesterday so pain took over and I needed the rest. (Actually, my inner child needed some extra love after that dentist visit...more on this down below).

Let's get to it!

Hello and welcome

to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a

Dose of Inspiration

and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is measuring growth.

I had a different theme in mind but now that I am writing this newsletter measuring growth fits.

How do you measure your growth and success?

After yesterday's visit to the dentist, I realize (while he was drilling in my mouth), that I have come a very long way since my first visit to him.

To give you some context I hate the dentist, I hate going to the dentist, I hate the pain and I always feel anxious and afraid when I go there. This fear makes me just avoid the entire thing. So I put off going there for years.

Until covid happened and I thought hey, now is the time.

Anyway, my first visit was filled with fear and my body was tense. I could not stop myself from asking millions of questions about the procedure and did not trust this man at all.

Fast forward to yesterday...I was mostly calm while he did the surgery for 1.5 hours.

  • I trained my mind to take me to the beach in Tioman, where I was floating in the ocean.

  • I controlled my breath and when it felt like fear was rising, I calmly took a deep inhale and brought my body to a restful state.

  • I watched the thoughts of fear arise and pass.

  • I noticed that I trusted him completely. (Probably more than anyone in my life now hahahhaha - seriously no one has this level of trust with me.)

So yes...growth!

Growth and success do not have to look like everyone else's version of success. This is completely up to you and you get to define this for yourself.

  Task for this week:

  • Take some time to journal about your growth and success.

  • What does this look like for you?

  • When were you the most successful?

  • What has been your biggest growth?

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

It's funny that Malaysia still gets overlooked in the world yet holds such great wealth of talented souls.
