🌿What would you do if you were inspired? - Issue 80⭐

Hello friends and family!

I did it! Issue 80! Can you believe this has been 80 weeks of consistency with this newsletter?

I cannot!

I honestly have the attention span of a goldfish sometimes but with this, it's different.

I love it and I am committed to finding new artists, and great music and sharing it with you weekly.

Hello and welcome to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a Dose of Inspiration and tips to Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is "Build it".

Imagine you have an idea for something, maybe it's something small like cleaning out your closet and giving clothing away or it could be something much bigger like building a brand that inspires women to be authentic in who they are.

Whatever the idea you have bouncing around in your head.

..Imagine if you never started.

I hope that at the end of your life you have tested out every idea, every dream and said yes to almost all adventures!

Now "

how do you do it?

" is what you are probably asking me...

Here are some simple steps to build it:

  1. Write down your idea

  2. Map it out in detail (how, what, where, when, why, who)

  3. Make a list of action steps from start to finish of the project (you don't need to know how to do everything - Google and Youtube are your friends)

  4. Start with the first one.

  5. Continue until all the action steps are done.

(Disclaimer: This requires work...so start with committing to your idea!)

  Task this week:

  • Take one idea and build it!

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

Give yourself permission to be creative by Ethan Hawke

At Issue 80 I am still in love with the creative process and even more, convinced that people should create for art's sake and that if you have a dream to make something, you should go and do it.

This is such a good Tedtalk! Let's never stop creating!

Artists Who Inspire

 Artist: Sasha Vinogradova

Look at these beauties. Her work is on a whole other level and this is just one style. I found her work randomly while binging art newsletters (

yes I read other people's newsletters too

🙂).

The thing I love the most about her art is that she has not only mastered the style but she explores it in different forms. I find so many artists (especially on Instagram) are trapped in creating the same type of art because they are locked in creating for followers and the theme.

Art is more than the box of social media. 80 weeks later and I am now searching for artists who push their own boundaries!

Click on the links below to check out their work.

Song of the week

This one is for all those 90's RnB lovers out there! Usher is back and this time with a tiny desk concert. If you haven't experienced the magic of a tiny desk concert then this one is a treat! Tiny Desk got me through covid. They bring on the best musicians - known and unknown to share their music. The best part is the arrangement is usually different from the original so you get to hear a new version of some of your favourites.

Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.

If I Did, You Can Too!
