The theme of this week is 'fail forward'! 

I made a comment to a friend about my last year and a half and about feeling like a failure. Basically, I tried a bunch of business ideas and freelance things to see what I would enjoy and more importantly, what would be a worthy use of my time to add value to the world. 

I went from getting certified in Business coaching to testing out coaching businesses on operations and processes to start-ups to getting certified in life coaching and coaching people on life issues, to then pivoting into coaching only creative people. 

I tested out a surprise business, long story but I actually just love surprising random people for no reason 🙂. Something small that brings me a ton of joy! Anyway that was a success but I did not see it as one since I decided not to run with it. 

I did design and coaching for a journal. After my travel book I found out I have some skills in this department and can execute any type of project like this. (Not as fun for me and I don't think that is the best use of my time...again a fail)  

So basically I felt like almost everything I tested failed...(Oh except this newsletter...this one is doing great!)

Anyway, the point being....even though I failed all those things. I succeeded in this newsletter. It brings me joy, I am passionate about it, it is providing value and I don't feel like it's an effort each week!

She is African, female, and self-taught! I don't even know what to do with myself now that I found this gem. You know I love patterns and this woman has an entire collection of these beauties. Go check out her Instagram to see the rest!

Try to sit still while this song plays. I dare you! Found this on a friend's playlist last week and it hit my soul in such a way that I had to get up and dance! Meet Kikimoteleba, a singer from the Ivory coast. This one is best enjoyed with your eyes closed and while you dance to the rhythm of the African beat! ENJOY! ♥️
