🌿What would you do if you were inspired? - Issue 93 ⭐

Hello friends and family!

Happy Thursday! I hope your week is off to a great start. Can you believe it's almost November...where has the time gone this year! How are you feeling about wrapping up another year? I feel a bit surreal about it, so much has happened and 2023 already feels like it will be a whirlwind one.

Anyway...

we are not there yet

, so let's get going!

Hello and welcome

to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a

Dose of Inspiration

and tips to

Create A Life You Love and Go Live It

The theme of this week is 'grief'.

I think I have covered a bit about this in the past but today I would like to take a different turn for those dealing with some heavy stuff.

Today, I want to say well done!

If you are dealing with a big burden, and I know a few of you are...well done for pushing on, well done for showing up for yourself, well done for getting out of bed, well done for getting dressed today, and well done for taking another step forward.

I am on my own journey with grief and there are days when it is day 1 again, days where my mind takes me to the darkest space and where getting out of bed seems impossible. I don't think you ever fully recover from a loss of any kind.

But you got to keep going ...

So if you are still going .... Well done!

  Task for this week:

  • Congratulate yourself on how far you have come with this.

  • Say well done to yourself for continuing with life.

(One of the most essential skills in life is learning to become your own cheerleader)

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

You're Not Slow: Become a Speed Learner in 20 Minutes - Elizabeth Filips

You are never to old to learn. I think often we forget that we were not taught how to learn at school but just expected to learn. Youtube has everything...and you can learn anything there.

Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Obou Gbais

I saw this and was instantly reminded of South Africa. The shanty towns of colourful houses can be seen throughout Africa. Obou is an artist from the Ivory Coast. Again there are so many artists worldwide who are not well-known yet create such striking work.

Go take a moment to dive deep into his art, you will see a layered mix of people, movement, and politics, which always make for an interesting and exciting art piece.

Song of the week

I can't believe that this singer is unheard of. He has 5000 followers on IG and 42,211 views on Youtube. What luck is this! If you love old-school RNB then this is for you. I haven't had a solid RNB gem in a while. This feels like B2K and Usher mixed with a little bit of Joe and Tamia. My heart is full, actually overflowing with this song.  The theme this week has definitely been soulful RNB. This week relax with this song...it's a chilled vibe for you to unwind to.

Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.

If I Did, You Can Too!

I promise I will be back with another one of these soon Life has been hectic so podcasts have been on hold. But take a moment and google what's going on in Iran. Then share what you find.

I see a powerful generation rising up and I am hopeful that this will lead to some major changes in the country for the better.
