Hello friends and family!
Super late this week, but with good reasoning. I was in Bangkok for the week and just got back to Kuala Lumpur. Imagine having everything go wrong on a trip...that is exactly what happened this week. But I survived and I got to see some incredible art.... will tell you all about it below.
For now a very warm
hello and welcome
to the new subscribers. Thank you for joining us on this weekly adventure for a
Dose of Inspiration
and tips to
Create A Life You Love and Go Live It
.
The theme of this week is 'Healing'.
Do you know how to heal from things, like the big things in life...heartbreak, death, grief, loss of friends, family, betrayal, etc?
I ask this because my trip to Bangkok made me realise how far I have come from the first time I was there and how much I have learned to heal from things in a more compassionate way.
You see ...Bangkok the first time was an escape from the reality of heartbreak and I had no idea how to stop my heart from hurting or how to put the pieces of it back together. So I did what any 21-year-old with no knowledge of how to work through things would do...I went to a new city and self-destructed myself and my friendship at the time.
I was a mess and it was messy. It took me 9 years to fix the friendship and a few years more to really learn how to heal from heartbreak.
No one teaches you as a kid how to deal with these things...teach your kids how to deal with these things.
Thankfully in 2022, the internet is full of wonderful people teaching you everything you need to know. You have educated minds, spiritual gurus, and some 16-year-olds who after googling some stuff.. teach healing on TikTok.
Task this week:
Make a list of 10 things you need to heal from.
Pick the most important one for you.
Go watch a few videos on youtube on "how to heal from ____"
Then see how you can implement this knowledge!
Your healing journey is your responsibility alone. Wishing you all the best on this path!
Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
Changing Your Heart Towards Pain - Pema Chodron
I found Pema Chodron in 2019 and she helped me reframe death and find some peace with it. I wish her work was taught in schools. Enjoy this short talk from her.
Artists Who Inspire

Artist: Chalermchai Kositpipat
I got the chance to visit one of the best art museums in Asia.
blew my mind with the scale of pieces and the incredible art.
Chalermchai was one of the artists I found there. His work is large-scale and full of details. I am obsessed with Thai artists now that I saw a whole floor of Thai surrealist art. There is so much magic in their work.
Anyway back to this artist...after some research into his life found that he build a temple. Click
to see it.
How amazing is this!

Feeling very overwhelmed at MOCA Bangkok. This is The Three Kingdoms by Prateep Kochabua.
Song of the week
It's that get-up-and-dance song! So this week...do just that. Take a moment, turn this song up and go dance your heart out.
Before I forget - a big thank you to @0melapics for the Tribal design that inspired this branding.
