🌿 What Would You Do If You Were Inspired? Issue 189

šŸ’« A Dose of Inspiration

Hello friends and family,

Firstly sorry for the delay in getting this to you, it’s been a month of Celebration, back to deep diving into work and projects and taking on new things. I feel the new chapter of life in a big way and I have made many new connections for future projects. Basically I am sorry and I will try and get back to regular scheduling with this newsletter moving forward.

I hope that life is going well on your side. As we wrap up the 10th month of the year and drop into closing off 2024 …how do you really feel about it all? Big question I know. But a good time to take a moment to see if there is anything on your mind and maybe some insight into what to focus on… right let’s go.

This week's theme is ā€œBig Dreams and Baby Stepsā€

I don’t know why, but if I am not checking in with myself regularly, my mind goes into overdrive, and I plan, stress, and hyper-focus on making a 10-year goal happen today! It’s a weird thing that I picked up recently after doing the year compass.

I noted that I was rushing for the big goals…when, in actual fact, I just landed in Mexico City a few months ago. Anyway, the feeling around all of this was anxiety and stress, a forward movement of energy that life could not contain. This was bringing a level of anxiety to my body and I only noticed it after reflecting in the year compass.

With all goals/ dreams, there are big steps and baby steps, big moves like quitting a job to course correct or smaller steps like working out consistently. We sometimes only see the big ones and think they matter, when in actual fact it’s the little ones too.

For over a year I have been coaching university students for free, these students found their way to cross my path I feel by divine intervention. But it’s always the same story, they feel stuck in what they studied and they can’t see a path for their future happiness. The pressure these kids feel is something I can relate to and I am sure most of you too.

I do this work because I know it’s needed. I am constantly thinking about how to do more of this work … then over the past weeks and with the conversations with students I met here, I have realized that 2025 should be the year I start this properly, as a business or service on scale. It’s weird because I thought it was a 10-year goal and now here we are..starting now and making baby steps.

Looking forward to reworking my priorities around this! If you know of any students who might need this send them my way via sharing this newsletter with them and have them book an inspirational call. I am happy to help!

Your task this week:

  • We technically have 2 months left of the year…what inspiration do you need to find to finish the year in the best way for you? Take 5 minutes to think or journal about this.

Remember each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

šŸ¤™šŸ¾ Inspiration Labs

Inspiration Labs is a 1-hour call where we dive into your project, career, life, or big dream. This free session is to gain clarity, dream bigger, and walk out with 1 action step to start moving forward. This is the value I am adding back to the world šŸ’«

I will open new sessions weekly for this. To have this available to everyone, you are allowed 1 session only. (Sorry I wish, I had all the time in the world to only do this but I have to work too)

I recently heard someone say they want to open a coffee shop but they had no idea how to do this. In 2024 with the internet, there really is no reason to say things like this. It took me one quick search to find this video and hear about someone’s experience opening a cafe. Let this be a reminder that the only person stopping you from doing things is yourself. (Sorry if it hits home when you read it but I really hope that line inspires some action)

šŸŽØ Artists Who Inspire

Bringing you some of the magic of Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico. This is a small photographer in Oaxaca who shared their work in a group and I decided to bring it here to make their day. So please do me a small favor and go drop a comment on their posts. Let’s go make their day šŸ™‚

šŸŽ¶ Song of the week

Something older but still a gem šŸ™‚ Enjoy this treasure from the archives of my search history. I miss spending hours looking for new music just because I wanted to hear new music. Now it feels like a scheduled activity …interesting, I need to work on reclaiming this magic back and still keep it as a weekly task.

There are so many ways to help from afar, some in small as a repost or reshare, some more significant as educating yourself on the real reasons behind these genocides and wars, and some even more as rebuilding infrastructure. The Olive Tree is a high symbol of a people who are being erased. Take a moment to look around this project and see if this might resonate for a call to action.

Final thoughts:

Life has a funny way of working out if you are curious and making steps, it really doesn’t matter what direction you move in as long as you move. I hope you move when you feel stuck. I hope you remember that only you can take you out of whatever is keeping you there. Choose a better feeling and have a great day!
