💫 A Dose of Inspiration
Hello friends and family,
I hope you are well. I know this little newsletter has become very inconsistent over the last few issues. I apologise and as much as I would like to get it back to weekly I don’t feel the drive right now because my mind is on other sides of this project.
Dose of Inspiration started off as just this newsletter but has now transformed into Inspiration Labs (a one-hour free call for inspiration), Strategy Sessions (a four-hour paid session to help people map out their ideas and businesses with a solid plan), Journals, and social media. It has a YouTube channel in the pipeline, too, and some cool workshops next year.
This year, I have worked with students, entrepreneurs, and artists and have really taken this project seriously in terms of the value it is creating on a bigger scale. I am happy to say I am officially taking a break for the next few weeks to finish some projects and close off 2024 on a good note.
I will be back and more consistent with this next year!
This week's theme is “Think Bigger”
Over the last week, I have had three occurrences where either a video, a conversation, or an email has prompted me to think bigger. You know when you see a sign and something is highlighted so much that you can’t ignore it? This is it! Think bigger…
But how and about what? Who knows but I know I need space for this.
Anyway, back to you, how are you spending your last days of the year?

Any big idea/ plan/ celebration that you wished you did (Do it now)
Anything you needed to say to someone? (Make that call)

Inspiration Labs is a 1-hour call where we dive into your project, career, life, or big dream. This free session is to gain clarity, dream bigger, and walk out with 1 action step to start moving forward. This is the value I am adding back to the world 💫
I will open new sessions weekly for this. To have this available to everyone, you are allowed 1 session only. (Sorry I wish, I had all the time in the world to only do this but I have to work too)
The mindset of excellence, often we see it only in relation to work or projects, hobbies, and skills, but what if we take this and put it into connection and presence with people? As you go into December gatherings remember to be present in full excellence …and treat your phone as a land-line!

Last year I got to walk around Sao Paulo looking at graffiti and murals, seeing the context of the society in the colours on the walls. I love Katherine’s artwork, she is a Colombian artist based in Melbourne.

🎶 Song of the week
Closing off this year with inspiration from my latest find. I came across this band in a vinyl store, it was so good that I froze and was lost in the song for a full 3 minutes. Go down the rabbit hole with this band and save their live sessions for your evening chill time.
Hope your song selection this December is on point, take a moment to create a playlist of all your favourite songs and use this for hype energy as you cook, get ready and do simple tasks.

About 250 Rohingya refugee families live in Langkawi Island now, those who left their homes due to the ongoing political crisis and genocide there. Kiran visited the community in October 2022, their small make shift learning centre that was housing about 25 children from the ages of 5 to 12 years old.
According to the UNHCR data, about 45,000 refugee children do not have access to formal education or health care programs in Malaysia.
It felt like these children were forgotten by society. Their learning centre was run down, dirty and uncomfortable. It didn’t feel like a place for a child to learn. Refugee children in Malaysia cannot attend public schools due to their stateless status.
After a few months of knowing the children, Kiran decided to find volunteers, raise funds and create this grassroots educational project! In hopes to bring more together, create the awareness and give them the education they deserve.
The start of our new learning centre, The TreeHouse Society, a place for underprivileged children of Langkawi Island.
What Do We Need Now?
We are looking for volunteers, for language classes, art workshops with creative materials, fun social studies and to start more field trips.
We also welcome contributions for our weekly running expenses like fuel, our monthly rental, teachers salaries, field trips, repair works and teaching equipments.
Your support and contributions help us sustain this community base learning centre. We are truly grateful.

January 13, 2021 - This was the start of the Dose of Inspiration Newsletter. 4 Years of writing this newsletter and building this project as a hobby. Thank you to everyone who reads this and finds some value each week. I am so happy and grateful for your support over these years.
Thank you for being by my side as I grew it and as it pivoted to new adventures. I know 2025 will be bigger and much better for it. I wish you a beautiful December and a warm and restful close to 2024. See you next year!
