🌿 What Would You Do If You Were Inspired? Issue 199
💫 A Dose of Inspiration
Hello friends and family,
I hope you are doing well. I am so sorry for dropping off the face of the earth for the last 6 weeks. I had a bit of life to deal with, and this newsletter and most of DOI had to take a backseat. I am back on schedule and back to searching for inspiration.
Firstly, we are heading into the end of the first six months of the year! How are you doing with your health, life, and goals? Reply and let me know, I’ll send you some personalized ideas on how to level them up in the coming month.
This week's theme is “Your Timeline.”
So a bit of backstory, I had a very intense 6 week trip to South Africa and Brazil, after not being home for a while (3 years to be exact) I needed to pop back in to say hi, share some lovely moments with friends and family and reground myself back in the ocean.
But 6 weeks of travel and new cities each week, an overload of energy and people, and no normal routine definitely had me anchoring in some random moments. For instance, a shower one week, a gym session the next, a few hours of doom scrolling, and just an afternoon on a couch saved my energy. It’s weird to think that these random moments brought such a deep anchoring back into my life, but it helped.
Anyway, being in everyone else’s space and catching up with people my age who all live so differently brought in some extra unplanned thoughts and emotions. I have yet to fully balance back into my own life. Today I spent a good chunk of the morning journaling about the trip, life, and I had a good moment to resettle into my timeline.
When you live a life so far from the box of normality, it’s easy to get caught up in comparison. But actually, I realized it’s when you look around at others and compare your life, this is when you trip up and forget that your timeline is exclusively yours.
Your task this week:
Take a moment to celebrate your dreams, goals, and your timeline.
Remember, each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
🤙🏾 Inspiration Labs
Inspiration Labs is a 1-hour call where we dive into your project, career, life, or big dream. This free session is to gain clarity, dream bigger, and walk out with 1 action step to start moving forward. This is the value I am adding back to the world 💫
I will open new sessions weekly for this. To have this available to everyone, you are allowed 1 session only. (Sorry, I wish I had all the time in the world to only do this but I have to work too)

🎨 Artists Who Inspire
Marta Blanc Jakobcova

It’s all magic here. Meet Marta Blanc. I had this artist saved for a while; her metalwork is incredible. Very delicate and detailed, she uses crocheting techniques to create these pieces. The crossover styles are beautiful. Do yourself a favour and go see her work.
If you have any favourite artists that you want to share, send them my way anytime.
🎶 Song of the week
The perfect mix for your week. Have this one as your background music while you work or live. And if you can add South Africa to your life travels, this place is a whole vibe unmatched in the world.

Final thoughts:
Center yourself in your own life, follow your path, and keep moving forward one day at a time. This is a reminder to myself as well. Your life is yours to create, make it magical!
“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life - and travel - leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks - on your body or on your heart - are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt.”
