🌿 What Would You Do If You Were Inspired? Issue 200
💫 A Dose of Inspiration
Hello friends and family,
I made it! Issue 200! Wow, I can’t believe it. It’s wild to think that I sat down 200 times to write a newsletter, or the scale of impact that this little baby has brought. I am about to celebrate this today! If you have been around since the beginning - THANK YOU - from the bottom of my heart, also if you just joined… thank you too!
I can’t even begin to share the emotions of writing this one. What!!! 200. WOW.
This week's theme is “Celebrate the wins!”
Firstly, this started out as a testing goal, something I wanted to do but wasn’t sure about. It has developed into events, coaching, workshops, new projects, collaborations, and full business. Yip. This baby is officially registered in South Africa.
The journey: I started it in the pandemic, and it gave my week some grounding. I would light a candle, grab a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and sit at my desk in Kuala Lumpur on a Tuesday evening. Everything was quiet, and I would search for the artist of the week and the music, which always ended with looking for the perfect quote to match every piece of the newsletter. Like a little game of magic, it all flowed and came to me.
Fast-forward to me doing newsletters for companies, yes, I made that a thing. Opening my home to events for connection and putting all my certifications and training under something that made sense. Dose of Inspiration - not a traditional business but something that aligns with me.
“What would you do if you were inspired?”
This phrase took on a whole new meaning, and people started living, traveling, dating, growing, and building businesses. I unintentionally built something far beyond this newsletter.
Now, not all was good. I recorded podcast episodes and did not launch them. I recorded a session with my favourite artist and did not launch that. I tried many things that failed (in my eyes). I tested out a lot of options, and most I hated, and procrastinated on.
But the key is to keep trying until something works. Because out of 100 things …the odds are that only 2% of them will work out. So I try 100 things, knowing fully that only 2 things will survive.
Okay, enough of this. Time to celebrate. Click this box below to check out the new website 🙂
Your task this week:
Please take a moment to help me celebrate this milestone of 200 issues.
You can grab a drink and cheers with me, put on your favourite song and dance or celebrate in whatever way you feel best!
Again…thank you for being here and opening this each week, it really means the world to me!
Remember, each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.
🤙🏾 Inspiration Labs
Inspiration Labs is a 1-hour call where we dive into your project, career, life, or big dream. This free session is to gain clarity, dream bigger, and walk out with 1 action step to start moving forward. This is the value I am adding back to the world 💫
I will open new sessions weekly for this. To have this available to everyone, you are allowed 1 session only. (Sorry, I wish I had all the time in the world to only do this but I have to work too)
🤙🏾 Inspired by …
The best person to share on this topic, and someone who aligns so well with the theme of “What would you do if you were inspired?”. Enjoy this one. It’s pure gold.
🎨 Artists Who Inspire
Linda Mannel

I think I often look for art that not only inspires or puts me in a state of awe, but also gives me some inspiration for living life. Meet Linda Männel, an artist from Germany. I saw this and it reminded me instantly of all the ways we need to flow and be flexible in order to survive life. This piece is not only beautiful but a good reminder that in the end we need to flow beyond the borders that confine us, be it of society or of our own minds.
“I was an artist in residence in Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula.
The overpowering nature and at the same time the intrusion of western civilization into this fragile ecosystem left a deep impression on me.
In order to transform my impressions into an image, I looked for a way to depict them. It was clear to me that the painted and embroidered jungle must grow beyond the frame like climbing plants.
Therefore, I didn’t cut the yarn on the backside on the work as I do usually but let them spill over the place.”
If you have any favourite artists that you want to share, send them my way anytime.
🎶/ Song of the week
The artist is redefining cultural appreciation and what it means to give back to your country. Firstly, I am a huge fan of this album because of its salsa roots, then its message is rooted in a remembrance and celebration of who you are. On top of that, he made his first shows for his people at an affordable rate. All in all, I am inspired by Bad Bunny.
