🌿 What Would You Do If You Were Inspired? Issue 204

šŸ’« A Dose of Inspiration

Hello friends and family,

It has been a while. I hope you are doing well as we dip into the last few months of the year. I am sending you the biggest virtual hug from this side of the world. If life seems chaotic, if the world feels overwhelming… hold on, it’s a whole rollercoaster and I promise the good parts are yet to come.

This week's theme is ā€œStrategic Resetā€

I just wrapped up a few projects, and with that came a natural pause, a chance to reset how I approach my work and career. It’s funny how we sometimes keep going on autopilot, only to realize later that a pivot could take us somewhere far better… or even launch us into a brand-new adventure.

That’s where I am right now.

Maybe you’ve felt it too, the questions about what happens to jobs as AI reshapes industries, or the sting of being left out of conversations and opportunities. The world is shifting fast, and it’s easy to feel like certain spaces…and sometimes even ourselves, are falling behind.

In a recent coaching session, we cracked open this exact theme: the ever-evolving world, the danger of staying stagnant, and how self-doubt quietly steals opportunities. We all know the feeling…seeing a project or role we’d love to pursue, then second-guessing our skills, wondering if we’re ā€œenough.ā€ (And let’s be honest, this doubt doesn’t just show up in work.)

But when we stall, we risk missing the opportunity of a lifetime.

For me, September is the end of my personal year—my November before birthday season begins and I step into a fresh new chapter. It’s the perfect time for a strategic reset. I’m starting, as always, with the Year Compass to set the tone before Q4 kicks off.

So, if you need a reset too, join me on this adventure.

Your task this week:

  • Take a moment to name one area of your life that could use a reset. Big or small, just start there.

Remember, each week, we are just moving one tiny step forward to creating a life you love.

šŸ¤™šŸ¾ Inspiration Labs

Each week, I reserve only 5 spots for strategy calls. Whether you’re stuck in your current role, exploring a new direction, or just looking for a spark of inspiration, this time is designed for you. The transformation I’ve seen in past clients - from clarity to action - has been nothing short of inspiring. Feel free to share this with anyone who needs it too!

šŸ¤™šŸ¾ Inspired by …

This week I’m sharing a longer video, but it’s worth every minute. The speaker breaks down 18 strategies for entering deep work (aka the antidote to distraction). If focus has been slipping away from you, this will help.

✨ Tip: speed it up, skim what you don’t need, but definitely let the key points sink in.

šŸŽØ Artists Who Inspire

Ar. Ajit Gavhane

I missed searching for an artist! This week I spent almost an hour searching for newness and I found this gem. Meet the Mask Studio and Ajit Gavhane, from Pune. I am in love with these pieces. Take a moment to explore his work below.

If you have any favourite artists that you want to share, send them my way anytime.

šŸŽ¶ Song of the week

Some Spanish magic for your soul. Let this play while you clean your space, before you head to bed, or while you watch the sunset with a cup of tea.

Give yourself the moment of rest and calm today.

āœˆļø Travel Inspo

ā€œTo travel is to wash your eyes.ā€

Opening up more of the world to you…this section will be shared by travelers. Feel free to reply with your travel pic and some words to share!

If anything, Mexico’s tacos are one small piece of happiness in the world.

āœŒšŸ¾ Pay it forward

This space is for any of you to share projects, GoFundMe, help needed, etc. ā¤ļø

This is the start of something bigger, but for now, this will be home to all projects, resources, and services for you to donate to, buy, or support. This section of the newsletter will stay and have a feature for each project/ ngo when added. So if you know of anything where we can make an impact, please hit reply and let me know.

Final thoughts:

As I reached this point in the newsletter, I felt a wave of gratitude for the opportunity to write it. I remember all the nights in Kuala Lumpur, unsure about what I am doing with all of this, but sitting down with my cup of tea to find the artist, the musician, and words for the issue I was writing…Wow I have come so far. And even though this is nowhere near where it should be number-wise, this baby has given me so much joy.

I forgot the peace that creating this gives me. Time to lean back into the magic of writing this each week. ✨
