🌿 What Would You Do If You Were Inspired? Issue 206

💫 A Dose of Inspiration

Hello friends and family,

And we are back. First, the biggest apology to you all for dropping off from this newsletter; life happened, and this became the last task on the priority list. Also, to be completely honest, I did not have the energy to write and curate this from a good place.

So I took a pause and kept it on the list for the time was right. I am very happy to announce that the time has come. I am bringing this back with new energy, a realigned focus, and some solid inspiration for all of us.

But anyway …how are you?

I hope this year has started with some good vibes, great people, and good projects.

Here is a quick update on the direction of this newsletter, and you can choose to continue the adventure with me.

I started this in the pandemic, during what feels like a lifetime ago. 5 years to be exact, and kept it going consistently for about 4 years of those 5. Now I would love to continue, but at a different pace than before.

  • This will now be a bi-weekly newsletter - which means you get it every 2 weeks.

This will give me space to search for new inspiration and write from a place of calm. (The theme of my year is peace and a calm nervous system - which means that everything I do needs to align with this - currently I am doing a lot)

The art section will change - after 4 years of searching for art to share, I want to take it back to a space of freedom. A space where I can enjoy it without needing a purpose. (Of course, if I find something amazing, I will share it here, but if you were staying for just the art, it will not always be here - please continue to search and fill your life with art on your side)

I find that it’s important to relook at why you do the things you do and to also see if it still aligns. This year I want to move with more intention in the work I do, the relationships I deepen and create, and also with the use of my words and time.

  • At the end of 2025, I made a list of everything I wanted to scale down on. With each one, I asked if this is something that still aligns. If it were - what would it look like in 2026? If it wasn’t, it was cut out. I have a limited time on earth, and the direction is intentional living.

Remember, we are just moving one tiny step forward to curating a life you love.

🤙🏾 Inspired by …

What’s your theme for the year? Mine is peace, but learning is in the foundation. This is one of my recent favourite YouTube channels; he breaks down systems for everything he does, which helps me find new ways of doing things.

Next, I am sharing one of my favourite humans with you for some inspiration for life in 2026. Mo Gawdat is someone whom I have listened to for years, and his story on moving through grief resonates with me.

Each newsletter will have a bit more inspiration and more variety to hopefully cover something that you find interesting.

🎶 Song of the week

Over the last 6 months, I entered a new phase of life, one that included great sets, live music, and full albums. My music appreciation has reached a whole new level, maybe it’s the getting older or the fact that I am surrounded by spaces to listen to a better mix of music. Either way, this is what I would love to share with you.

Music for your soul. Grab a cup of tea, get comfy, and enjoy this one.

Final thoughts:

Thanks for all the support over the years, it does feel like a new chapter of life this year, one of calm steady progress and intentional living. This newness is welcomed. Hope you stay for the adventure …because who knows where this year leads. Wishing you a great week ahead.
